Orienteering

Post by Linear » Fri, 24 Dec 2010 12:19 pm

I saw a post from March, 2010 that asked if there was any orienteering in Singapore.... but no real response.

Does that mean there's nothing??? :(
I haven't found anything online.

The city chase challenge is happening in feb / march 11. Not much on a big scale. Have you tried a full websearch? the univerisities usually have something (but seriously running around outside is not something that is very popular around here)

No surprises there . . .
Singapore is too well mapped out already . . . can't imagine anyone getting all excited about orienteering around Bukit Timah or Pulau Ubin . . .

The closest clubs are in Malaysia and Indonesia . . .

Thanks all. Of course I did a thorough web search, figured that any orienteering was at a "sub" level, and thought I'd try here.
Although (of course?) orienteering in natural surroundings is preferred, there's also city orienteering (Sprints) and so I thought it wasn't out of the question. But it looks like a "no".
Thanks. Maybe I'll just go for a jog. not as fun though
