Tummy Tuck in Singapore

Post by Troubledsoul » Thu, 23 Dec 2010 6:19 pm

Hi Everyone,

I am looking to have a tummy tuck for my abdomen which has excess skin after my weight loss, not due to pregnancy. I don't see myself going to foreign countries to have it done as I would be better cared for by my family here. I am thinking whether to go to a private or a public hospital. Anybody has any experience to share about this procedure and the plastic surgeons from Singapore who are good at this procedure?

Thanks a lot!

From my fren's experience, she had her breast reduction done in a public hospital in Singapore and she was disturbed by the many scars left behind after the op.

I personally feel that if u fly to Thailand BKK, it is much cheaper and the post op care is much better than here in Singapore.
I also believe the price u paid here can fly 3 of ur members over to Thailand to accompany you. :)

Of cos, final decision is up to u. :)

Frankly speaking, I feel that doing ps or tt in sg is costly. At first i thought becos of facility or doc is recognise that why we feel that it is ok doing in sg. After my sis told me that Thailand also is so much cheaper n facilties, nurses and dr care. I totally agreed and will still go for oversea but of cos finding the right doctors and extra care of miles in countries we had ps in. Do more research is advisable before making decision[/img]

Singapore is too expensive that doctors is charging. Think how much can we earn a month in order to save up and do PS. Perhaps earning more than 4-5k a mth yes maybe you can consider doing in Sg but what if our income is less than 3k below. How can we afford to pay PS doing in sg.
of course Singapore is convenient and as well as well prepare.
Everyone has different expats. it is too see how we can do it right.
