My husband would lose his job for a DUI. In his last company you also lost your job for points and if you were seen/convicted driving without a seatbelt.

If your profession is to do with driving a company's vehicle - marketing executive, transportation of goods etc I would be least surprised if that person is NOT fired for a DUI. Any accumulation of demerits points owing to minor traffic offenses impacting the job sounds a little strict though.

Hanni's much better male half works for a specialized type of company - I'm under similar restrictions in certain areas I visit for the same reason.
