construction noise near 90 holland road and 104 de lente

Post by donfiori57 » Tue, 21 Dec 2010 5:03 pm

Terrible construction noise is already going on non-stop for 6 months (continuous drilling, 8 hrs/day, 6 days/week) at rebuilding of condo 100 holland road. And the end is not near. So please be aware if you would like to rent something in the area.
Maybe some people are not aware of it, but in any case of noise problems/pollution, a complaint can be filed with the National Environment Agency simply by calling them or sending an e-mail:
[email protected]
tel 1800-2255632
customer service

Hope this info is helfull for other people.

kind regards

Hahaha, yes you can complain!
I did: After two weeks I received a reply that they cannot do anything and advised me to file a police report instead.
Shortly afterwards the neighbour had his alarm system repaired and it stopped blaring out several times every day and night (apparently triggered by a hyper-sensitive sensor reacting to cats and birds instead of only humans).
Go and invest in earplugs and/or sleeping pills - less time wasted and it actually helps somewhat!
