nature lovers out there?

Post by Muslima70 » Mon, 20 Dec 2010 11:03 am

Hi, is anyone interested to join a casual nature walk group?

I am hoping to meet some new pple with similar interests. We can meet about once a month, go a scenic walk then enjoy a meal together after the walk.
If all goes well ..we can even consider doing out of singapore like Johor, etc...

Yes its free of charge (FOC)..unless you count your own transport & breakfast cost

Local or foreign, any race, male & female and any age welcome.

Date: 29 Jan or 5 Feb 2011
Location: Fort Canning hill or MacRitchie reservoir nature park
Time: 8am

The date, time and location is just suggestion. I have received a handful of pms and emails but most pple seem to have different times/dates to be free.

If you are keen, pls do drop me an email or you can PM me. Pls inform me your name, gender and other details you think I might need to know and date and location you prefer....
Once I get a "majority vote" I will confirm the details.

Btw I am f/34/local

no clubs per se (at least here in the forums) but you could always organize one and invite people to join. most people did it that way.

moreover, people are busy with other things right now for the holidays so that could explain the lack of such activities lately. at least for me, I have things going on for the holidays.

Hi,
I'm organising a walk on 22 Jan to MacRitchie to go looking for the Shinto Shrine there. It is not marked and there will be quite a bit of walking through the jungle. If you're interested, please sign up here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=130834803646153
Cheers

Thank you :) I've also managed to find some slightly more explanatory directions such as "start of the Shinto trail is marked by 3 rocks". GPS co-ordinates are great too!
