Quick, quick, you have time to change your post before anyone sees.

WIMH I already straightened you out on that one last week. And posted you a link to the Young Ones featuring 'Neil'. That was a classic bit of comedy, shame you didn't have time to watch it!

Got to say mate, if you were a woman I'd expect you to own at least 15 cats

I'm sensing a theme here...
WIMH, I thought you were an auntie lor! If you're that young then perhaps you should display a little more respect to your elders. It being Chinese culture and so on.

2) I'm not that young.
3) I did pay my respects to SMS.

Stebe, in case I've confused anybody, I was suggesting that if Neil was a woman she'd be a mega-minger!

Brisa... Methinks, the types that tend to fall down the 'rabbit hole' tend NOT to be intelligent good looking, for the most part anyway. As someone mentioned earlier, would your reaction have been any different if the venue had been a US style strip club…where it is also possible to get into trouble in the champagne rooms. Most of the relevant points have already been mentioned earlier in this thread but ultimately it's a question of how calibrated you think your husbands moral compass is.

Hence, every wife's objective: Re-calibration of husband's moral compass

Then again, isn't this something that his mom ought to be responsible for? Hmmmm..... simply add to list of things to blame mother-in-law for

it's normal to have a drink at pubs with ladies around for the guys...
there are even pubs with male performers to entertain ladies now...
whatever happens there really depends on the individuals themselves
maybe your husband is there for some drinks and for relaxation. the question you should ask yourself: is he any different in treating you other than the fact that he went to this pub?
maybe you can try going to the male performers' pubs with a few lady friends and you can experience what guys experience in the pubs with ladies? or you may also want to go check out those pubs with ladies as servers and you can see what happens.
these places are open to both gender so why not you go there and see for yourself and not just think about it at home

Its a guy thing - has something to do with whats in our pants. I dont think women will ever understand.
I`m happily married, love my wife and kids, but would happily go to a girlie bar with the boys to droll on girls. Its natural - I know nothing will ever come of it because the girls there arent exactly what i would call top notch - they`re not the type you would bring home to meet your parents (if you know what i mean).
I think my wife understands that - she wouldnt approve of it - but I think she would understand why I would want to go there. I wouldnt lie to her if she asked - wouldnt think i needed to, hence, OP the fact your husband lied to you says a thing or two about your relationship. Perhaps your over-reaction on the whole incident is the very reason he didnt want you to know he went to there? good luck whatever the outcome - but i would cut the guy some slack.

OMG not another dirty old man on the prowl and in a fun bar! Not at all like the 70's

If you are considering divorce, don't use it as an excuse, that is also shallow! The poor guy is probably worried sick now and it's almost Christmas.

wake up and smell the coffee - all men are dirty inside - even the gays ones. Its just a question of their morality and whether they are living in denial because of the way they were brought up. I think religion plays a huge part in this. I`ve lived in Japan for a number years, and the amount of cheating and sex that goes on there is unbelievable. And just to further evidence that, just look at the porn sites - the number of Japanese porn on the internet relative to other asian countries 100:1. Does anyone wonder how and why that is, given Japanese people are suppose to be one of the most conservative group of peolpe i the world? It has to do with religion and beliefs - sex in Japan doesnt equate to love there (from what i can tell) - and I`ve had seen so many things that have happened there to make me actually believe it may be true.
