Oh dear... This is troubling. PLease dont divorce him. He made one mistake. I have been married for longer than most and we have had our fair share of ups and downs but we were always not afraid to talk to one another and more importantly Brisa, LISTEN to one another.

I wish you all the best but please please please don't do anything brash. I may not have all the facts I know but divorce is not the best or only option.

Hey brisa, when you asked him and then he answered "it's a guy thing" IMHO that's not fair either.. you have to let him realize that what if you are also doing the same actions to him? and you will answer "it's a gurl thing" would he accepts that? what I am saying is that it's not a ground for a divorce and that is a very serious decision - you have to communicate each other and save your marriage.. try to talk to your male friends who knew him too they might be able to help and the signal to him.. Have a happy new year to you and to your partner.

Odd how people would spout or solicit advice to and from complete strangers on an internet site over such key life issues like divorce

Suicide, murder and terrorism :-| Very odd! But it works for some :-| I quite often try to swap positions in my mind to try and understand them, and i come to the conclusion it's insecurity, they want to be following instead of leading.

It opens the doors to psychopathic manipulation, by the nutters that search out these weak people, while the followers take the plunge into oblivion :-| Some people get kicks out of destroying peoples lives, because they themselves are so unhappy, other people like to think they are helping because it makes them feel apart of life in general. Others that make no comment and just read are thinking what dickheads, but its entertaining to see what happens in the end...Like soaps.

Adam & Eve all over again, though i learnt my lesson the first time I took a bite of the apple and the snake stood erect and dazed by a feminine spell, beautiful creatures have a costly price. Always better to sample first and weigh up the benefits and costs, most women do that anyway.

There's love and there's survival! Love is an illusion until the bubble bursts, survival is the next step. So asking questions on a forum gives plenty of information to pick and choose one's strategy though her mind is already made up.

Calculative planning is needed to strip anyone of their assets  It sure looks like Brisa knows what she wants.

Now all the wives are checking credit card statement for unusual presents for the helper, trips to KTV lounges and spas. I am amazed no one mentioned the eating of sushi off naked ladies among other things that goes on behind closed doors of Japanese restaurants here.

Oh do tell! That's one nobody brought up in conversation here before.
