SGD 7K Salary - Will This Qualify for PEP ?

Post by honey0401 » Sat, 11 Dec 2010 1:16 am

Hello,

About a year ago, I was issued a P2 pass. At that time, I was earning only 6.8K. Six months after, it was increased to 7K (in theory, this is still a P2). I am planning to apply for a PEP, do you think I will qualify? Anyone of you who has experienced this ?

No. You have to be on a P2 pass for a minimum of two years before you qualify to apply for a PEP.

P2 Pass holders that have worked on a P2 pass in Singapore for at least two years. They should have earned a fixed salary of at least $30,000 in the preceding year.
You will note that the qualifications for the PEP are EP Based with a minimum salary. They are not Salary Based with a minimum EP.
