Brand spanking new to Singapore - British/Male/34

Post by twistedyogi » Thu, 09 Dec 2010 8:17 pm

Hello

I'm 34, male, British and I'm going to be teaching yoga at a brilliant studio downtown. Been in town for a couple of days and came across this forum, pretty cool having a 30's club.

Like doing the normal things - coffee, going to the movies, the odd pint, eating out ... sightseeing.

I'm also into alternative music and love going to see live bands and clubs. And travelling and will be planning a few trips around Asia at some point.

If you're perhaps in the same boat would be great to hear from you.

Ro

Hi Ro,
I've been in Singapore for about 18 months now, so know quite a few places of interest. Perhaps you would like to meet for coffee sometime soon - and maybe do a bit of sightseeing? :)
Just looking to expand my friends network in Sing, as I seem to be doing more working than socialising since I arrived here.
Cheers,
Jo

hi guys. if you ever need a local guide, just let me know. ive helped quite a few expat friends, with language (although u guys seem to speak it fine), but mainly bringing them to local (secret) watering holes where they don't rip u off :D

i like expanding my horizons and ive lived overseas for 6 years on my own so I know being new can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. cheers!

Ok! Anyone near/able to get to Vivo City? I work near there and could do coffee at one of the myriad of places one evening this week.
RSVP!

How's about this Wednesday? Vivo City looks cool. Meet at the harbour front MRT 6pm-ish?

It's quite festive in there at the moment with Tangs holding their annual Christmas market. 8-)
