Plus, when would a women identify themselves with the character of a guy whose flatmates had to put a bin bag over his head, to stop his unending sneezes spraying snot all over their house. Who then went on to write a record entitled, and about, 'Toast'.

OMG you're right... 'Hole in my shoe' haha! (Toast was a little earlier, and maybe no less weird, by Streetband). Maybe the fact that NP is now a chef/cookery author confused me
That TV series coincided squarely with me living pretty much precisely that lifestyle in a big house at uni, so is a little hard to forget!
