My sincere thanks for the apology. In truth no offence was taken, but an opportunity grabbed to spar with a deserving opponent. Since you're being such a chivalrous gentleman, I shall now endeavor to be a well-mannered lady.
Cool 8-) . I felt the same way about the banter...
Anyway, onwards ho! :)

I saw someone who looked a lot like you swilling martinis at the UB tonight. Any chance that was you SE?
Wow! Stranger! How wonderful to see you on the board again... I have May 29, 2006 as the last time you were here.

Twasn't me, however. Played some golf at Safra, then swilled Tiger at a hawker center close by.

Glad to see you back.

Isn't that for YOUR friends to do? Like, so they don't feel left out?

Well, thank you! I have been around more recently than 2006 under a different nick, but it has been a while. Sometimes you just need to take a break from a Board like this. The inherent duplicity of trying to hold intelligent conversations with all of the nuances and subtleties in a medium such as forum can be grinding, and lead to a lot of frustration. For me, anyway. The irony is, if it wasn't such a good Board, it wouldn't be such a challenge.

The guy I saw at the Union Bar looks just like your photos, I think you have a twin out there...

MHB, first of all welcome back!

Secondly, it's funny how we ang moh's seem to have doubles even in a small place like the little Red Dot.

A couple of years ago, I was having lunch as a hawker center out in Tuas. A local chap asked politely if he could join me, to which I replied "please do". We struck up a conversation (or should say, he) and started talking to me a mile a minute about his history after graduation from either NTU or NUS, can't remember which now. This went on for around 5 minutes (he was a civil engineer working on the phase one of the Shering Plough project. Come to find out, he though is was one of his instructor in the university! So, I've definitely got a twin out there cause this was close range up and personal! :o

Needless to say, we had a good laugh about it and had an enjoyable lunch as well!
