Pls do answer
thank you
So I gather you're not a local graduate, at age 21 would I be right in assuming you have no relevant work experience too?
Considering the amount of local graduates looking for work I don't think you have much chance, even if you found a company willing to employ you it'd be difficult to get the relevant employment visa approved by MOM. Better to go home and get your foot on the ladder there then come back to Singapore in a few years when you have the relevant experience
As Jaycee says you aren't going to be walking into any kind of jobs as frankly they will take the local graduate over a non-local.
My advice for you is work out the particular subject in IT you are the most interested/adept and gain whatever work you can find in that specialisation. Some kind of professional certification to back up that you have an inkling of know how about the real world IT industry would also help in convincing a company you are worth taking on.
Also never walk into an IT role proclaiming you know it all . . . I've seen it done far too often . . . if you don't know or understand something open your mouth and people in general will assist you.
I really wouldn't fancy starting out in IT these days - everyman and his dog proclaim to be experts when many are pretty clueless getting yourself notice amongst all the no-marks is challenging. It was bad enough in the late 90s when things were actually pretty complex, let alone now when most things are virtually idiot proof!
The number of supposed experts who screw up even the most basic of implementations is increasing on a daily basis!
