I'm set up for January 17. Let me know if you have interest and I'll send you details.

If you'd like a more placid trip in Vietnam, there is a 13 day trip from Hanoi to Saigon, all tarmac, with a chase vehicle that will be staying in 4 and 5 star hotels.

Let me know if you have interest in this one as well.

Not affiliated, yada yada, blah blah, woof woof... I've just done previous trips.

Hi Strong Eagle,

That looks fun! I was on a trip to HCM this May. I don't ride though...any place for a passenger? I am looking at travelling to Hanoi and Laos. Can you pm me the details?

Thanks!

I know there are some people that will be riding the chase vehicle. I don't know if there is room for more or the cost... this is for the March trip on tarmac. The Laos bike trip is bikes only.

I'll check and get back to you.

Cheers.

Bikes supplied. Riding skills not supplied. The tarmac trip in March is pretty easy. The January trip is advanced riders.

Tarmac trip will have a PHOTO JOURNALIST. Could use a photographer on trail trip... except no room for pillion rider, unless you are petite, beautiful, and female.

Seriously, am planning helmet and/or chest cam for riding videos.

The trip in March sounds interesting EXCEPT for the 4/5* accommodation! Good excuse to go ahead and learn how to ride a bike (even though I already have scars from falling off one on the farm way back when)

Meow, there is room on the chase vehicle. There will be at least one other woman on the chase vehicle, a person I know, and I think you would find her a delight.

All riders more than willing to carry chase vehicle riders as pillion on the trip.

Email me, and I'll send you more details about itinerary, costs, etc.

Cheers.

All things are relative in Vietnam. Knowing the guy that runs the tours, he'll only opt for a chain if no other venue is available. I've stayed in small, very Vietnamese hotels that qualify as 5 star... not because they meet the amenities of a Hilton but because they are very clean, excellent staff and food, and reek of Vietnamese culture.

And yes... if you were to learn how to ride a bike, this would be a good trip.

Cheers.
