Easy weight loss - need advice
yes, agree to cut carbo esp wheat. go to www.wheatbellyblog.com for more info.peterpanphoenix wrote:Cut down on refined carbs n deep fried food
Take 1-3 tbs extra virgin coconut oil a day before meals
Do resistance training to build muscle
also when you take good oils like coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, avocado and nuts, your body will not retain the fats. the body knows it will be fed more such oils and it will thus not stay in the body as fats.

NUtrition and exercise. How often do u exercise? whats the duration of your workout session and most important whats your workout programe like?
U don't need to go into starvation mode to lose weight. u just need to eat right and find the right workout programe for your self or u might need someone who can help. like a personal trainer.

Losing Weight Effortlessly by increasing body metabolism
i have tried many many slimming products and none of them worked for me, diet plans, diet pills, fat burning creams! but after trying a product called el marino, i lose a total of 15 kg in mere 3 months, from 64 kg to current 49 kg. Just for your information, i'm standing at 1.68m tall. not advertising, but sharing my personal experience to you.

Re: Atkins diet
Don't do Atkins. It isn't sustainable in the long run. Do something that you can do as a lifestyle change, e.g., maintain but just upping the quantities some and finding the happy medium where you will know just how much you can eat and not gain or continue to lose. Atkins has been proven to be not sustainable in the long run. Don't start a yo-yo type of weight loss.felicityue wrote:i will try the Atkin on 1 Dec. anyone want to form a team with me to encourage each other? email:vivien.sg@hotmail.com

Hey catherine
The problem is ur in a starvation mode, when you do that ur metabolism decreases and ur body starts absorbing more of whatever you eat. That leads to gaining weight quickly.
My advice to eat 3-4 meals but healthy meals and work out 4-5 times a week atleast. Make it a combination of cardio plus light weights.

Re: Atkins diet
This is really sensible advice. With all the information out there, I think we all know how to eat healthy food, exercise and maintain a healthy weight.sundaymorningstaple wrote:Do something that you can do as a lifestyle change, e.g., maintain but just upping the quantities some and finding the happy medium where you will know just how much you can eat and not gain or continue to lose...
