In response to your question SMS , lots of jobs are listed out in job portals. I have registered in Jobsdb, jobstreet, jobcentral, monster, st701.. etc.. Most of them come with the requirement of citizens or Pr , but when I find they are posted even after the closing date, I apply but in general, all the advertisements has one tag line "We are sorry or regret to inform that only short listed candidates will be notified " .. This is as much as a mystery similar to MOM rejections of passes .... (That was a joke !)..

Dear KSL , I have 6 plus yrs of experience in handling Commercial/residential and Multiplex complexes, Major Hospitals (including Bio Medical Waste Management Services) Manufacturing Industries like Automobile & Semi conductor Industries. Being an Operation guy, my role is to cater to different kinds of business units with reference to the following : (Manpower calculation based on the services contracted with the client e.g (Housekeeping, HVAC , and so on...), recruit and train the manpower, design, implement and monitor the functional procedures and protocols, adhere to the monthly and yearly budgets for Consumables, materials and Machines, Project the yearly profit and ensure in delivering the SLA's and SOP's as drafted and agreed. I can get into any industry for that matter and start up. I totally agree for the salary part to base myself on a WIN WIN situation. Is there any contact or link that you can put me through ?. Your advice and suggestions are welcomed.

In projecti employ direng or aiming at the sectors in Singapore, I have approached and given out all my applications to major players and small players in the market as much as i have come across. One simple way of knowing the local or local player is always visit the restrooms, and behind the door, is the Checklists with the name of the company or contracted company. SO i usually jot the address right from our ICA to MOM to Airport to what not you name it....... but the local players are not much interested in the expanding plans or their plan is not to recruit foreigners. Unless if they expand. If major players like ISS,G4s, Knight Frank employ directly, but the local thinghy comes first. If I look at the option of CBRE, JLL and similar players, they are like the wholesaler outsourcing to the local player the contracts of the building they are incharge..... again then locals are preferred by the local players.. I have been now in Singapore for last 3 months and attending interviews, but December not a single one has happened so far, reason is year end or the person i try to reach over is on Holidays. they say job market picks up again after chinese new year as many get their bonus and leave for new ventures.

Let me know if am on the current path and studying the market carefully or is there something I have overlooked ?. I am also studying the Start up business forum posted by SE and the article is great. I am also trying to negotiate a contract which opens up by next year, if i start my own venture based upon that. Let me know all the possibilities of trying so that, I can know Ill win this one way or the other.
