Looking for properties in Singapore

Post by lopezlaura07 » Thu, 02 Dec 2010 9:23 pm

I have got a job in Singapore and will be joining from Jan-2011. But the only thing I am worried for is a house. I am looking for a house on sale or rent in Singapore. Since I am new to Singapore can anyone give me an idea on which area should I search a apartment and how do I find one.

Geylang road, especially around lorongs 1-20, is a lovely area so I'd recommend to take a look and buy somewhere there

Also good job opportunities in the area for those with entrepreneurial spirit....

Where to stay in Singapore is very much depends on what kind of life style you want to be. Choose somewhere nearer to your working area would be better if you do not want to make lengthy travel everyday especially traffic jams. Or if you like serenity and quiet area choose houses further away from Central region.. Good luck in your searching!! eddie

If your office is going to be in the Jurong area, I will suggest you live

across the border in Gelang Patah, Johor, Malaysia and commute daily

via the Tuas Second Link. Many expatriates are already doing this.

The OP has made one post and has never returned in spite of a request for more information. Beating a dead horse here.
