Just amused me that they and try and dissuade you by pointing out you will miss out on 'special promotions'.

Don't know why they have started spamming me today after several years as a customer, just as I am in the process of closing my accounts.

When you input all that info (why might they want your id, to take you of their spammer list!?). You get this...

-------
Unsubscription - request received
We have received your request to unsubscribe from our email list.
-------

Oh really. What are they going to do, consider whether to accept my request to stop being spammed by them? <sigh>

Love it when you need to fill up way more fields and stuff to unsuscribe from a newsletter that you ever needed to fill to get on the mailing list in the first place...

How to try to make you change your mind...

Same group of DA's used to make you press 1 to continue holding while waiting for an operator or they would hang up on you. Finally changed that nonsense after I complained repeatedly. Clueless.

Try reporting suspected account fraud to them, that's fun. I think the bots at customer service cannot conceive, or believe, that such a thing is possible in their perfect (because they are told it is) corporate world.

Oh and if it is believed , then it's your fault - obviously. Rather like being a male victim of domestic violence hehe...

Anyway.... I'm closing ours a/cs, I am not paying to deal with robots any more.
