Where do I find a maid?

Hi all,

There are a plethora of agencies that advertise for maids in the paper here. However, we want an experienced maid, a transfer, and I don't know where/how to begin my search? Nor what fees to expect. Any guidance would be appreciated.

It seems many employers are giving helpers higher pay to retain them as helpers are getting competing offers from expats. Is this okay with MOM?...

So after months of trying to get FDW approval finally my application was approved, but as luck would have it...

Oh dear...so PNGMK is right..better to find a new transfer helper, employer probably realised its hard to find a helper now.
