Watching American College or Pro Football in SG

Post by drummonds » Thu, 25 Nov 2010 11:59 am

As soon as I leave the country my college team (Auburn) has gone undefeated and is two wins away from playing for the championship. I really want to see the last three games no matter how they turn out.

What are my options for seeing college football in Singapore? Same question for pro football. Would love to catch the games in a bar somewhere but am open to anything.

Looks like a great option. But since I am mostly interested in just a handful of games, I would much prefer to catch them in a bar or with anyone else that is also a college football fanatic. Think that option exists? I have not seen any Singapore bars that show anything but the ESPN games.

I've never had any luck watching college sports in a bar in Singapore; I'm just thankful that I can usually get my games online. If you have a nice TV that'll hook up to my laptop, I'll be happy to share. I wouldn't consider myself a football fanatic but if Oregon plays Auburn Jan 10, I'll definitely be rooting for the Ducks. Sorry Tigers, gotta represent the Pac-10 :)

How do you get your games online? I've done some Googling but ultimately been stymied by a variety of things.

P.S. I'll take you up on your offer if the Tigers/Ducks make it to the championship. War Eagle!

When I lived in Scotland, I watched most of my Arizona games on justin.tv. I was very lucky to have found a couple of regular Pac-10 streamers. Unfortunately, when I tried to watch some college football here last weekend, justin.tv wanted me to pay. There are ways to get around the Singapore ISP but I couldn't be bothered as Arizona had a bye week.

Anyhoo, you should be able to catch the Auburn @ Bama game tomorrow morning (14:30 EST) at:

This same site will show my Arizona @ Oregon game afterward. Lucky for me, I don't have to wake up till 7am for that.

Good luck against Bama! Should be a good one.

PAC 10 games

Post by Bruin » Sat, 27 Nov 2010 7:20 pm

Sup AZwildcat...I used two links to watch some of the ucla games but I could certainly use another stream to watch the coming Pac 10 bb games?

Stayed up last night to watch the bruins go down against ASU, surely better days are ahead. Tough game for u guys against the Ducks, but that team is for real. It would be interesting to see how they match up against Aubrun if they end up plating for a NC.

Let me know if u guys are getting together to watch any of the college games...It would be fun to watch the games with a few fans

GO SEC!!!!! My Florida Gators are having a rough year and conference loyalty is all I got left this year.

I'm a college football fanatic who just moved to Singapore. Would love to watch some games with people. If my calc is correct, the Auburn / South Carolina game is at 5am this Sunday morning (tomorrow). I'd be down to watch it if others are! If not then let's definitely meet up for games in the future!

It seems like we have a few college football/basketball fans here. we should def meet up for a game or 2.

Yeah AZwildcat, I think we got a tough call at the end of regulation in Kansas but its a young team so its okay. As for your game... missed FGs can kill you

If any of u guys are interested I think some of the alum from my school are organizing something to watch the UCLA vs SUC game at Clark Quay - Brewski... 11.30am tomorrow. I dont think its confirmed yet but I will post another msg here before I leave tomorrow morning. Swing by if you can but please dont wear red :P

Sorry Bruin, didn't see your post in time either. What's up with the stabbing/bloodshed at Pasadena??

I plan to re-enroll at the U of A next Fall and join the football program as our new kicker. Too bad I won't be able to save us from Oklahoma State.

Looks like the championship game is on a Tuesday morning (Jan 11) Singapore time, darn. Don't you guys have to work?
