went out last Saturday (November 27th) - met 8:30

Post by DJ-F » Wed, 24 Nov 2010 7:44 pm

Hi ... Me and an American friend are going out this Saturday (November 27th) if anyone would like to join us. We have both been in Singapore about 6 weeks, and both enjoy drinking beer, eating local food, and indulging in fine conversation.

Anyway ... the plan is to meet at Chinatown MRT around 8:30, take a wander through Chinatown, eat some local food, grab a beer or 2, and then go to check out a bar called Lily's which is just the other side of Chinatown towards the river a few hundred meters south west of Boat Quay.

I have heard that this bar is where local people hang out, it has a pool table, and seems quite mellow.

After there, will probably wander down to one of the Quays (Clark or Robertson) to see what is going on.

Can call either of us on the day if you can't find us, but plan to meet at the customer information desk at Chinatown MRT at 8:30 , or if you can't make it that early, can call to find out where we are along the route. More people the merrier!

If you can post us a note here so we know who we are waiting for that would be excellent ..... see you then ....

If it's not too late, I'd like to come along too - I'll fire you a txt Fabian.

I'm Martin, 29M from New Zealand and have only just moved over about 2 weeks ago. Sounds like a good night, I'm pitying the Chinese in Chinatown already with this large group of westerners bowling through the markets...
