My sincere apologies in case those two really exist... as I know that sometimes reality indeed surpasses fiction...

However... feel a bit skeptical after reading your thread... you're a newbie... ohhh and by the way... Chemo isn't a therapy option in encephalocele... so you either have the diagnosis or the treatment wrong...

I think it's time for her to return to her family in China. There's no future for her here, she has few friends, and a baby that may be left without a mother. She should go home to her parents and ask them for help.

The following was amongst my junk-mail folder contents today. Looks like the scammers of today have moved beyond directly promising or requesting money. An implausibly over-elaborate sob-story and proposing a channel of communication, made to the most improbable of audiences seems to be the starting point.
-----------------

Dear Beloved one,

I am Mrs. Helena Kolb a German citizen but presently in England, you might have received an email from my cousin in the past regarding/concerning a business proposal. My cousin who sent you that business proposal in the past after a successful business transaction with his American friend left a bank draft with me for delivery to you because his travel out of UK was based on emergency phone call from his investment partner in South Korea. Please am so sorry to let you know that I cashed the bank draft left with me for delivery to you by my cousin because I had a little family problem and was in need of money that time,Please forgive me because your forgiveness will go a long way to determine my future and continued existence.

I was finding it very difficult to make this direct confession to you before I realize the only way I can really move on is to make this confession to you.According to my cousin in the letter attached to the bank draft he said that i should send to you ,he noted that since you are aware of the business then, the Bank draft is for your compensation regarding that business proposal he sent to you in the past which you and him never concluded or rather proceeded with because no reply from you due to one reason or the other best known to you, and that he didn't forget your intention to assist at that time. Are you aware that my cousin on his way to Seoul, a city in South Korea were he is having an investment project with his American investment partner had a fatal accident that lead to their death?

Please forgive me that I cashed the bank draft and consumed the money without your consent. I will admit that I have a difficult time dealing with unsettled mind after I cashed and consumed your compensation from my cousin though the money helped me at that time. I know is hard to forgive a thing like this but please forgive me, It was out of greediness which Indeed the major fault of mine. I pray that you will forgive me and focus on good memories you have experienced in life rather than this painful behavior of mine, I know this confession have come to you as a big surprise because secret when revealed surprises anyone. I traveled to Manchester for medical attention,Please forgive me for everything dear beloved one. I believe your kind forgiveness will make me happy and strengthen me to move on from this time in my life.

Many thanks for your anticipated understanding and forgiveness towards my sincere confession. I will explain everything to you once you reply me through my alternative email([email protected]) because I normally check it. Please ensure that you reply/contact me through my alternative email so that I will explain everything to you.I really know how you feel in your mind which is why I intend to attach my picture on my next email once I receive your reply through my Alternative email: [email protected] , Please have mercy on me.

God bless,

Mrs. Helena Kolb

@JR8 good one... :? Reminds me I've seen some of those that mimick almost perfectly a real communication from visa... including all the warnings against scammers :?

@OP I stand my ground... Money is far from the only thing people try to get on the internet... Sometimes they just look at getting attention, people sad for them.

Giving contact numbers means next to nothing... scammers do that too.

I've seen to many of those stories not to be mistrustful, one of the most recent case I've come across... the woman knew quite a number of the people she lied to in the real life... didn't stop her... invented twins, their premature births etc.
