For maximum diversity, let's get anneteoh, leona123 and montecarlo to come along too. That will guarantee a lively evening!

I'm thinkin', I'm thinkin! Want to stay away from expensive (aka $12 beer) so that leaves out Boat Quay, etc.

I just walked past one of these Deli cold storage on Cuscaden Road and it ticks all the boxes, central location, easy parking, cheap beer ( I assume) and sarnies , no loud music, outdoor seating.
OK not the most dynamic of setting but maybe you lot will make up for it?
Orchard T around the corner should the conversation get a bit dull.

There used to be a 'hawker strip' down the north-west side of what was the Meridien hotel on Orchard Road. Right at the end was a good seafood stall. Then you'd have the beer-auntie serving up big bottles at c. $6 a pop.
I know it is not the 'real deal' a la East Coast, but it is central, the food is good, no scamming on px's and the drinks not $$$. If the strip is still there of course...

Gosh you guys sure take your beers seriously! Anywhere is fine with me, but having lived here longer than even SMS I feel obliged to throw in at least one suggestion so here goes:
There's an open air pub in Bishan Park where we can sit surrounded by greenery with a fair amount of privacy, and a quiet environment where we can hear each other. Can't recall prices of drinks but I think they are reasonable. Mainly it has a lovely ambiance.
Or we can go local and sit in a coffeeshop with one leg on a stool and one finger in our noses
