Aye indeed. My God. The drama...

Sorry for all your troubles MS. It all sounds so... unnecessary.

If it's an aye, roll call here:

Venue? SE's choice?

Mad Scientist -
SMS - aye
Strong Eagle - aye
Wind in My Hair - aye
ksl - aye
Addadude - och aye
nakatago -
Saint -

I'll use green to signify those that are still on for Friday. Venue to be named.

Folks, I cannot make this Friday... a long standing dinner obligation. Can we move it one week to Friday, December 3?

Apologies. Of course, feel free to do it without me.

I'm increasingly impressed with SMS' organisational skills :D

3rd Dec is ok with me, assuming everything goes well with my mum's surgery earlier that day.

Dec 3 - I _can_ choose a venue... would like to know preferences.

a) Reasonably central, or something different like East Coast?
b) Bar, hawker center, other?

Could set up a table for ten or xxx at Brewerkz outdoors with finger foods and such.

Suggestions invited.

We've done north a couple of times (Kovan area), we did Siglap the last time at Saint's local there.

Maybe something a little more central as we'll be coming from all directions. Someplace where good conversation is possible (e.g., without having to yell at the top of your lungs to be heard.) As I don't "partake of the spirits" that much anymore, I'm really dependent on you guys & gals. more than likely I'll be coming from my office near IMM, but live in Serangoon North, anyplace is okay for me.

Will have to do something in the new year, enjoy this outing and have a beer for me.

Meanwhile, I knew MS had deleted posts because he was in some kind of bind, but don't know whatever threads explained whatever was happening. From the sounds of it, participated in some sort of protest, surely for the benefit of someone or something justifiable. But I don't know.

Whatever it was MS, good luck to you and sorry to hear you went through what appears to be something dire.
