I've been advised to read the book first so as to have some hope of following the movie... not happening anytime soon I guess!

I have noticed that books are much better comparing the movies, so I think watching first will not disappoint later

thought its not bad..its long so i think its pretty good...they dont cut as much from the book;p

But they could easily cut 2 hrs out of those 2,5 hrs of movie - that's when the action takes place. And 2 redundant hours - it's Harry Potter whining about how hard is his life and that he cannot make it, and others consoling him and convincing that he is important. yuck...
