Where can i find new music cds?

Post by robleo » Sun, 21 Nov 2010 7:58 pm

I have been looking for CDs to update my ipod but could not.

1. Anyone hre who has tried downloading from I-tunes using their SG address? It is very frustrating to do things the right way. I could not seem to find solution- I tunes singapore does not have anything good to offer; I-tunes could not allow purchase from other countries. How good is that?

2. I just tried other websites but also, they are not available out of US!

2. I am frustrated that I could not even find a CD store that sells good collection or at least the latest stuff!

Any advice????

I'm assuming your choice of CD's are not pop--otherwise, you would have probably found them in the local record stores already. Me? I had to purchase CDs from Amazon.

Yes, it's frustrating that you're just doing the legal thing and tons of things are in your way.

I have that same problem. I love rock music and there is an international release for a band that I like. I can't find it here either. Anyone know where I can get good rock/metal music cds? And no its nothing the local radio stations would ever play.

Sometimes gramophone or borders may import certain bands but it won't be worth less than if you buy several CD's online.

Yeah, obscure rock music (to Asians at least) FTW. But really, I want Amazon MP3 to let non-US people buy music. :(

erm, I know of a place I always get my metal cds from.
Its located at Far East Plaza, Orchard.
The shop name is called Inokii, #03-30.
Owner of shop is called Johnny, he's a really nice guy.
You could do orders if he doesn't have your cd in store; trustworthy
He's really got immense knowledge of metal, there isn't a band that i mentioned which he doesn't know.
So yeah, i highly recommend him.

PM me if you still need any information

You can try Roxy Records at Excelsior Shopping Centre and it is located at level 2.

Hi, I just saw this topic from a while ago. Would any of these stores sell vinyl records? Different genres, as long as they have nice guitars; classic rock to grunge to death metal basically.
cheers

For vinyl, definitely check out the Adelphi mall, across the street from Funan. There are several stores that have a surprisingly decent selection.
I pay FIVE DOLLARS for something and then I LOSE it!
