Singapore work permit and criminal record in canada

Hi,

I'm a Canadian citizen, living in Montréal, Québec.

I'm currently in discussion with a company based in singapore regarding a position they would like to fill.

They are willing to take care of all the relocation details from moving to applying for a work permit.

Before I go further with this project, I would like to clarify something, I have a criminal record in Canada, do you think this will prevent me from obtaining a work permit in Singapore ? Any information on this subject would be appreciated.

The offence occured in 2006 and is drug related.

My 2c - don't lie on your application - that is the worst thing you can do and the worst thing that can happen here is that you don't get the work permit, but such is life.
