Chinese International School

Post by hklaw » Fri, 19 Nov 2010 12:07 pm

Hi
I'd like to hear from anyone who has or has had kids at CNIS. The only posts I can find about this school are from 2008/09.

I took a look there yesterday with a view to starting my 3 and 5 year olds in September 2011. I was quite impressed - the facilities are fine for primary years, the students all seemed happy, the students' artwork was nicely displayed plus, for me, it would be great to have both kids at the same place.

However, those posts from a few years ago have really sowed a seed of doubt in my mind........

Apart from CNIS we also have a place at SJII for August 2011 for the older child, but would prefer more Mandarin.

Any opinions welcomed....thanks.

If you have doubts, why risk it?

Because they want more immersion in Mandarin? :-|

And while I'm at it, make sure the post for your facebook group is your last one. Otherwise I'll have to deem it as advertising and delete the lot.

The school is fine if your priority is learning Mandarin over any other basic subjects.
