DP turns 21

Post by karanrao1837 » Wed, 17 Nov 2010 12:23 pm

Hi wise ones,

I am on a Q1 EP and my unmarried daughter has a DP but she turns 21 next month! What options do I have? Can I apply for LTSVP because the MOM website says that is only if you have a P1/P2 EP?
Any advice highly appreciated.

You can try but no guarantees.

Thanks SMS. Not exactly jumping with joy but I expect you are right in that there doesn't seem to be any other option.

How long are you on Q1 ? If >= 5 years try applying for PEP for you, so that you will be eligible to apply for LTSVP for your daughter.
