Long term visa under student of higher learning scheme

Post by santhosh john » Wed, 17 Nov 2010 9:46 am

My contract is over from my previous company. So they cancelled my EP and issued one visit visa. Now I am applying for LTVP. Would I need to bring a Embark/Disembark card with me? I actually entered with my EP and student pass into singapore so far. Or can I use the company issued visit pass letter which holds Embark/Disembark ID in it. Please advice me.

Your SPV, issued upon exiting from an EP, is only good for the duration of that visa. It is not extendable or renewable. You must leave Singapore before you can get another visa of any sort (for a minimum of 5 days). You may have to return to your country of origin first but I cannot confirm that.
