you can try better toys (or something; sorry forgot the name) on the level above as books kinokuniya, same level as art fiend in ngee ann city (takashimaya)

I agree, the toy store in Ngee Ann is pretty good. The Better Toy Store or something it's called, level 4.

loads of other toys shop in vivo city you can check too.

Toys R Us has a section of wooden toys but I cant compare the price.
The best locations are at "Forum the mall" on Orchard and Vivo City.
