Renewal Of Indian Passport

Postby jayashree_sound » Sun, 14 Nov 2010 11:08 am

Hi

I am from India holding an Indian passport and currently living in Singapore.

My passport expires in May 2012

Any Indians here who have renewed/reissued their passport here in Spore?

How early can the renewal be done? How long does the process take?

Did you bother to call the Indian Embassy?

You need to do it asap! Otherwise you may have trouble, you may be restricted flying anywhere with less than 6 months. Do it through your embassy now.

The passport renewal is outsourced by the embassy to 2 agencies mustafa travels and Quoprro Global Services. The links are below.

The passport can be renewed 6 months before expiry. It takes 5 working days for the same. (have been told that if the original passport is issued from a non metro city it can take longer).

you can call the below agenies for further info
