Christmas Ornaments

Post by sgnyc65 » Thu, 11 Nov 2010 9:10 am

Anyone know where I can get some handmade Christmas ornaments that I give to my children? I know there are the Christmas Fairs, but am looking for ones that are really handmade and perhaps with monogramming? In the UK, they've got tons of amazing holiday fairs. I've been to the Fancy Faire ones and they are horrible.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I don't know about handmade, but Lims usually have some ornaments which are a bit nicer than the usual bauble stuff.

Alternatively, there's a shop on Level 4 of Ion Orchard which sells traditional looking Bavarian style wooden toys and ornaments and they usually have the place nicely decked out for Christmas - you might find something nice there.........quite expensive though (it's near Prologue bookshop).

They also have one of those Bavarian style christmas (same chain) shops at Raffles City too. Can't remember if it's on level 2 or 3 though.

Are they as miserable in there as they are at the one in Ion? The bloke in there looks like he's sucked a lemon if children go anywhere near the shop.......and of course it's the kind of shop that attracts children because of all the cute stuff. I think he's in the wrong line of work personally

So probably best not to take your children sgnyc65 or the guy will glare at them - but if you're buying them as a surprise for them, I don't suppose you'll have the children with you if you go in there.
