Hi,
I'm looking for cheapest way to move my stuff back to north Europe (Estonia). I have only 8 boxes and one drawer, what would be in total of approximately 120 kg.
Does anybody have a good experience with moving small quantities? I've checked few moving companies (ocean freight), but they deal with large quantities and are expensive.
Sending by Singpost or DHL will be also too expensive.
I would really appreciate if somebody could advise.
Thank you!
Piret

Have you checked out the "excess baggage" sites? Or perhaps tried to find another expat leaving - try posting on classifieds etc.

You won't find anything cheaper than Singpost (try surface mail if you have more time than money)!

Thanks a lot for advice. Excess baggage seems not to work, as Estonia is too remote location. By so far i've found only options to major European towns.

Air Cargo Freight is the answer you are looking for - I moved nearly 250Kg (12 Tea Crate size boxs and 2 Guitar cases) from Laos to Singapore for 800USD . . . which is far, far, far cheaper than any of the Excess Luggage, DHL etc will do.
Speak to which ever airline flies to Estonia from Singapore and speak with there Cargo dept.

I just helped a friend ship three 50KG boxes from Johor Bahru, Malaysia. There is a Malaysia Post in JB near the waterfront--you can check the prices on-line before you spend time and money heading north of the border to ship them. It was about a third the cost of SingPost--and you can also track the shipment.
