Anyone in Toa Payoh/Novena Area fancy a beer or 2...?

Postby stevebuick » Sat, 06 Nov 2010 5:42 pm

Are there any expats in the area who want to meet up?

$7.50 a pint everynight at Padi's.... I'm thinking of moving in there.

I just re-read it. I guess it does!

I'm not connected to them. Just need a drinking buddy.

What part of town is that in? I'm far west in Jurong.
Thanks,

Hi Richard,

That's pretty far west... Toa Payoh is 3 stops from Orchard. Jurong is on the same line as me but about 15 stops I think.

If you make it Botak's then I can consider.
They got a place next to SPH in Toa Payoh, and there is
garden bar there too.

If not may I suggest Bliss at Punggol Park.
That's a bistro bar by the pond

A garden bar.... Sounds good.

That's only 1 stop from me. Let me know if you fancy a drink.

Not even on the same line - I'm on the EW line at Lake Side, but still open to heading to Orachard area on a Friday or Saturday evening.
Thanks,

I am free for Botaks on Thursdays.

For bars in Orchard, I need a special license from the wife before I can go there, especially for those ones in Austin's (rhyming slang for ...)

beer on Saturday

Postby sylvainf345 » Thu, 18 Nov 2010 4:14 pm

Hi everyone

French Canadian just landed in Singapore, working offshore on rotation, trying to expend my social network. I'll be in town this weekend, wondering if there is anything going on this Saturday night.

My wife is a local from SG but would like to meet some expats living here!

Sylvain

Hi Sylvain,

I'm in Malaysia this weekend but could do something next weekend? Or during the week...
