Any homeschoolers?

Post by intime0 » Thu, 04 Nov 2010 9:28 am

Was hoping to find a homeschool group or some other homeschoolers. I found a group online but have not heard back from anyone, so thinking it must be defunct.

thanks.

I’m homeschooling my DD. We enjoy it. DD can learn what she wants and time is also very flexible. Here are some of my feelings. I think the most important thing of homeschooling is that you should make plan adequately and then persevere in it. Besides, find some assistant tool helping you to find out where you have been and whether you are teaching the right stuff. About this I recommend beestar. DD has been using it. Anyway, good luck!

Yvonne, thank you for your reply. We've been homeschooling for several years now and love it. However we've just moved to singapore and would like to get plugged in with some other homeschoolers. MY daughters miss having friends! i dont usually mind not getting otu much but even I'm starting to get a little stir crazy. LOL

Hi IntimeO,

Have you found some homeschoolers yet? There's a group that meets on yahoo groups.

Homeschoolers here

Post by ObjetsVirtu » Sun, 15 May 2011 9:34 am

Hi there:
My daughter (aged 11) is homeschooled. We have found homeschooling in Singapore to be very easy (at least for non-citizens) and we find it suits us well. However, my daughter is always looking to make new friends, so if there are any other homeschoolers on this board with kids aged 8-12, we would love to make contact. We have been in Singapore for about 4 years now but are moving home in the next month or so to the River Valley area.
