Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with this plan? As my husband and I are considering starting a family I am looking to get insured on this plan because it covers maternity and newborn from day 1.
I am not looking for something longterm - just want to make sure that my child is covered from day 1 and if they are born with any conditions then only would we continue the plan longterm.
I am just a little skeptical because it sounds "too good to be true" so would appreciate hearing from someone who has been on the plan.
Thanks,
Sehr

Hi,
I'm as well interested in DKV insurance for the same reasons
What i know is that DKV is a subsidiary of the ERGO insurance german business concern. Ergo is well known in countries like Germany and Spain. I'd say they are a reliable but I actually never dealed with them.
Nevertheless, I think their insurance are rather expensive
I'd appreciate to know anybodies experience
thanks

Hi Sehr
DKV Globality is the plan that I presume you are referring to here and can confirm that maternity benefits are included in their YouGenio Plus and YouGenio Top plans.
However, there is an eight month waiting period before maternity benefits become available (the shortest waiting period that I am aware of) and of course you cannot be pregnant before cover is taken out.
If your pregnancy does qualify for cover then the child will be covered from birth.
I hope this helps
