7 months post op.

Post by Clammie » Sat, 11 May 2013 4:29 pm

After 7 months, there definitely is some difference in my thighs now, though not very much as I wasn't fat to begin with.

The only downside is that the operation left me some VERY unsightly keloid scars on the right side. I just went back earlier this month and Dr Pichet did an injection for me for free, claiming a little would help. After 11 days now, the scars did improve a little but there is still visible keloid scars.

Guess I would have to look for alternatives if I want them totally gone -_-"

This doctor prichet response to email is super fast. either he is really "eng" or has a good english speaking email admin that could also be some forum troll.

http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g2 ... ngkok.html

tripadvisor has got some good eyes for those who are considering thailand doctors.

the doctor's website looks like it is catered for international patients. From the testimonial site, zero local patients is one issue, but most of his patient testimonials are transgender. Not to sound discriminating, but the type of aesthetic that he would have worked on daily would be totally different to lipo sculpting.

GA for multiple area lipo has pro and con. Pro is that patient wont experience too much trauma cos deep sleep. Con is that because you would have the pipe down your throat to assist breathing, high chance doc wont be able to flip you around too much to do a 3D sculpting.

People always say, if its something that the locals wont eat, wont use, "siam" far far away.

I’m currently considering the liposuction with Dr. Pichet. Now just in the process of exchanging e-mails. Yeah, you’re right. The way he responses is fast and precise. I have some friends in Bangkok who check for me about his reputation among Thai patients. Most of the reviews about his surgical skills are positive in Thailand though. I’m quite impressed with the cost-effective treatment he proposed me. Still I got to consult him on many factors but I’m feeling that he’s a good surgeon. I’ll keep everyone updated when I decide to go to see Dr. Pichet in Bangkok.

Hi, i'm considering to do lipo arms and back with Dr.Pichet. He quoted me 2100 USD. I've contacted a local PS and he quoted me 8800-10000SGD. Anyone able to share their before and after photos of arm and back lipo with Dr Pichet?

And also, i'm looking for a companion to go together cause i will be going alone! We can give each other morale support!

Thanks!

Post by lily91 » Fri, 13 Dec 2013 8:07 am

Hey there! I know this post is a bit late but I'm really trying to contact some of Dr. Pichet's lipo patients. I am planning on having tumescent lipo to my abdomen, thighs, arms and hips. Would anyone be kind enough to show me their results from Dr. P?

I would appreciate it so much! !

Hey Fernvale33!

I just decided to do Lipo with Dr. Pichet. He quoted me around 2300 USD for thighs, hips and arms liposuction also free transportation service from the airport to his clinic.

He guarantees the good and natural result. I think it’s reasonable price so I’m gonna go there in Feb next year. Just booked my short holiday in Thailand too, it should be a good trip. Still keep in touch with him as I have more questions concerning other surgery services he provide at his clinic. Seems he’s well-known for BA surgery in Bangkok as well. Will let you know my experience when I get back here again.

bao wrote:This is not my first experience in doing lipo. I know what is a skillful sculpture lipo. Lets see if my Medan lipo could amaze me, i will give me comment again. What I have state here is the fact of my experience.

I did tummy few years ago, my tummy was damn flat. after another pregnancy, it is no long flat, i went to Dr. P for 2 second tummy procedure to expect similar outcome as 1st other Dr. in Singapore who did my tummy. But sad to said, it is far beyond the standard. My sis who did her arm with this Singapore Dr. , her arms was very nicely sculpture with Wow effect. Me and my sister size is exactly the same. I know what is regards as excellent job. After my procedure with Dr. P to be very frank, none of my friend or relative notice any different. That is the greatest disappointment.
Hi Bao,

Care to share which local doctor that your sis went for her arms lipo? Is it tumescent lipo or vaser? How much? After reading most of the pages, it is very obvious that 'someone' seems to do advertising for Dr Pitchet here, if u all know what i mean.. beware..

Just want to share my Liposuction experience with Dr. Pichet. I went to have Lipo with him last February as I had posted in another Lipo topic (http://forum.singaporeexpats.com/sutra671385.html) I booked directly with him and the cost was affordable; around 2000USD for abdomen and arms (including transportation service from the airport). The procedure was about about 3 hours and I could see the full result 2-3 days after. I think Dr. Pichet did a good work from the pre to the post procedure. It’s quick and smooth. After the procedure was done, Dr. Pichet gave me full details of what recovery was going to be like so I had no surprises of the pain and swellings. It’s almost a month after the surgery and I feel great about my body. Good experience for me so far!

Hi Chilala!

Sorry for the delay answer. Overall my Lipo areas concentrated on my belly area and both of my two arms. For your thighs and buttocks Liposuction, I think Dr. Pichet would have to consider your body weight and how many areas you want to have the fat lifted. He normally gives the full package of Lipo if you want to do in several areas of your body. I think it should be cheaper or approximately the same cost as mine. This cost also includes the transportation service from the airport and opd care from his staff. I think the best way is to send him e-mail asking, he always replies very quick. Hope this would be helpful to you.

Omg, can't believe what I'm seeing.

1. lipo is not for weight loss. the right way should be to exercise first then use lipo as last resort for areas that exercise won't work.

2. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GUYS HAVEN'T READ IT. [Edited- the surgeon under investigation is from SP Clinic] He is currently suspended/under investigation.

Guys, choose your doctors wisely. All surgeries come with risks but we can always minimise these risks!

Thanks for your info.

However, if he is currently suspended/under investigation, why could he still be in his clinic performing operation???
I suggest those who is going to him to give him a call & check properly rather than believing some one called Takuda's accusation.

Who doesnt know lipo is not for weight loss? Who doesnt know the right way should be to exercise first then use lipo as last resort for areas that exercise won't work (& that was me & exercise won't work for me, DUH)!

However, even ur words are true, out of so many patients, only 1 patient happened this mishap but many were alright. And you did not find out what actually happened to that particular patient's health or background, right?
Maybe that patient went to many Lipo sessions in a yr or 2, & did not tell Dr. Pichet about it & when things happened, then they start to put blames on the last surgeon, which I think its not right lor... So it is wise to chk properly before putting words that may tarnish or destroy one person.
And you also said "all surgeries come with risks", #-o so dont just irresponsibly splash words to one surgeon....
I still think give Dr. Pichet a call or the local authority will be wised.
