Hi jazzbunny, he's Dr Arthur Tjandra from Medan . Think he has quite some fans around , here's his website for more info:

http://elixirdevie.sg/

I haven't undergone surgery with him yet (only consult) , but some forum-ers here were his patients, so they'd be able to tell you more ! He does a lot of liposuction jobs in comparison to other type of plastic surgeries, at least according to his before/after photos !

Emails are handled by his nurse/assistant Jennifer though

HTHs

Louisa
P.S. I'm still deciding between him and a bangkok doctor (Dr Charan).

Hi Jazzbunny...

Have you returned to Singapore yet? I am really eager to hear your sharing as I am going in Dec this year, also with Dr Pichet...

Hi blessedrekyo,

I wanted to get the CG for my arms and bodysuit, I am around XXL I think... Are you selling yours? So first stage should be our current size or one size down... Quite confused actually...

Hi Janetyeo76

Oh... you hv booked urs wz Dr. Pichet in Dec? Your hubby agreed to let you go ahead wz the surgery in BKK?
That's good, cos it will be raining season in Dec, & u will not feel hot when u wore those CG after ur op. :)

Btw, I might wan to do my inner/outer thighs if can cos stil not slim enough... & still saving $$ lah... Hahahah... so I will wan to keep my 1st stage CG.
1st stage should be ur current size as u will be still swollen aft op.

As for 2nd stage CG, I am still wearing it leh. I think I oredi used to wearing it and cant leave w/o my CG. Whaha... sorry leh.

As for the size, maybe u measure ur actual size, go to the makemeheal website and look at the size of each individual brand, so u wont confused.

Ya, me too, waiting for Jazzbunny to come share her experience. :)

Last Sat, I went to weigh myself & I'm 66 kg now! YEAH!!! :D
Really hope I can go down to 50 kgs since I'm only 1.52cm :(

Hi blessedrekyo,

Yeah I have booked with Dr Pichet but instead of Dec, I booked March 10 with him... I was thinking of including my hip and applying for a longer leave to recuperate... My trip will be 5 days...

Actually my hubby didn't agree, he is still against it cos he still thinks it is very risky... Anyway, he knew that I will be going ahead even though he says NO, so when I told him I will be going in March 2012, he just kept quiet...

I dun think I will order the CG so soon, will order in feb when nearer to the date just in case my size changes... I will get sineech too... Do you know what type of painkiller doc will prescribe? I hope to be able to be up and walking from day 3 to do a bit of shopping so I must get my painkiller ready...

Feeling really excited... No news from Jazzbunny yet?? Wonder how she is doing...

I see...
Dun worry, Dr. Pichet will prescribe many painkiller pills for you to bring along cos we are not local patients, so he will make sure you have enough. And also some kind of lotion & bandages. I still left a lot of painkiller pills and I've thrown them away.

You should be able to walk after 3 days but it is the soreness & tiredness tat caused the patients dun feel like moving.. I went ard in my hotel room & lobby after I discharged from his clinic. :D

I'm waiting for Jazzbunny's reply too.
Hope everything is well & she can share her Before & After photos here.

liposuction w dr pichet

Post by prettyfat49 » Tue, 11 Oct 2011 10:39 am

Hi blessedrekyo, I've sent a couple of emails to Dr Pichet. I'm considering of gg over next wed; 19th Oct. And probably stay there for about 7days. I've read all your experience and I'm really keen to go over there and have my fats removed. I wanted Dr Pichet to remove as much litres of fats as you. But like what some other forumers said, the doctor didnt remove as much fats as they wanted. So is there any way to convince Dr Pichet? I told him about this and he just said that he'll remove as much as he could.
And, I'm just confused over GA actually. Does it mean that if you require much fats to be removed then you've to be under GA and, an anesthesiologist will be operating on you and not Dr Pichet? Cos I'm quite confused!
I'm actually gg over there alone and I really need a lot more info. Please advise me on anything that I should take note of please! Thanks!
I don't intend to let anyone know about this, but read from the replies many of you guys post, those swelling and bruises is inevitable and would definitely be v obvious right? So how can I explain those swelling and bruises if my family members ask? I want to keep this as a secret. Any suggestion? Please help me!
Hope to see your reply asap!! Thanks!!

Hi prettyfat49
Firstly, staying there 7 days should be enough & be able to de-swell if u have prepare SinEech pill to bring along to BKK. I guessed family members will found out sooner or later as u need to clean up ur tiny wound from the incisions after u bathed. :)
My arms had the worst bruises but it was gone in 3 days when I was still in BKK. I remembered no bruise was found after 6 days of my op but still swelling a bit here and there. Though swelled but not obvious cos it will be like ur normal size (minus the fats + the swelling = same size) :P

As for some forumers who did not have much of their fats being removed is becos, u can tell from their reply, they are considered the slim version. Hehe... & I am considered the big version (73kgs for a petite size).

Our body will still need fats.
Hence, if u hv a lot of fats in there, I believe Dr.Pichet will remove as much as possible and yet still need to monitor ur blood pressure.
Under GA is becos u hv more areas of fats to be removed and not becos of how many litres.
In Singapore, they can do one part/area per visit, so they use LA, which u can wake up anytime even half way through the operation. And u will have to pay the op theatre many times if u have many areas of fats to be removed. That is also why the costs is so high if to do in Singapore. & some surgeons did the anesthesia themselves (one man show) which I personally think it is not so safe, if the surgeon does not hv a licence to do so.
Where by a anesthesia is required for an operation, it should be done by a qualified anesthesiologist, which Dr. Pichet will engage a well known anesthesiologist for his patients, & that you can be relieved of.
I googled that before i went ahead with my surgery. Hehe...
Check with Dr. Pichet who is ur anesthesiologist and google his name.
Mine was a well known anesthesiologist during my operation in Nov 2010. :)
Do feel Free to ask me anything you are confused of.
God bless. :)

Yes, I took the 1st pill one night before the op and the 2nd pill one day after my op. but still ok. The 2nd pill should be taken after ur op on the day after u are awake but it still ok to take from the 2nd day aft ur op.
It shld be able to rcv ur SinEech if u order now and send by express courier. I did take the pills together with the medicine Dr. Pichet prescibed to me. It is fine. You can olso eat a slice of pineapple a day to help faster de-swell.
The box has a clear instruction & all you need is to follow the instruction.. It's still fine if u skip a day not taking it.

To correct ur this statement "And, I'm just confused over GA actually. Does it mean that if you require much fats to be removed then you've to be under GA and, an anesthesiologist will be operating on you and not Dr Pichet? Cos I'm quite confused!"
It is not the anesthesiologist operating on us, he just give us a jab & we will KO and he will sit there to monitor us while Dr. Pichet performing the operation. :)

Prepare all your compression garment is important. Dr. Pichet only provide one pc.
Btw, which area will you be doing? If you are doing both thighs & wearing long pants with ur compression garment inside after ur op, no one will know u did an operation.

Omg! Thank you for your lightning fast reply! Really appreciate it!
Do you still have any SinEcch left? How much does it costs? How many boxes do I have to buy?
You mean I can't hide it at all? I really can't let my family members know! And, especially my bf. :???: He'll ask many many questions! Is there any way to explain those bruises and swelling?
I asked Dr Pichet about it but he said that he don't think anyone will see it. I saw your post photos and I think it's kinda obvious. And worst, I'm gonna do arms, upper/lower back, love handles, tummy and my thighs. So many parts! I think I'll be under GA.
Btw, what's incisions?
I'm going over there alone and I'm kinda worried actually. Like, what if i'm too weak to even walk or etc. I know Dr pichet will assign a nurse to take care of me right?
Have you stayed in Wattanna Mansion before? I'm on tight budget, so thought of staying over there. USD23/ night. But still thought of going over to pratunam to shop. Haha. Do you think I should move over to pratunam market after 4days? As Wattana is quite far from Pratunam. Although Dr Pichet said he'll provide trspt for the shopping, I still think it's better to stay near pratunam. What if I faint while halfway shopping uh? Haha.
Anyway, I'm only in my twenties. Hope that I'll recover really fast with all the pineapples, SinEcch and my young age. Haha.
I asked Dr Pichet about this : I think I will need a different size of CG after a few weeks/months right? Do I have to buy them?

His answer: I only provide one set for you but if you need more , we will discuss again when you are here.

So I do not need to prepare the additional sets? And it seems kinda expensive to buy CG eh. And he said he'll provide the arm CG also.
It's funny to hear you say " like ur normal size (minus the fats + the swelling = same size) " So meaning I won't look like I lose weight?
So on the day I return to Spore, nobody should have noticed any significant difference right? I just have to wear jeans and short or 3/4 sleeves blouse right?
Btw, armpits also have fats ah? Haha.
And how about cellulite? Was it still visible after the fats are removed from the thighs?
Is there any way I can talk to you other than posting in this forum? :D
