Hi parents,
I am an experienced full time tutor and have worked with a chinese expat family's 6 year old son. The family has recently left for the UK and I am wondering if any other families are out there looking for a homeschooling tutor for their kid. I'm willing to work on a trial basis if you want to "test the waters" first.
Do reply to this thread to ask questions if you have any.
Other than this kid, I have also tutored P2,P4,P5,P6, Sec 4 and JC1 and 2 kids in my 4 years as a tutor.
cheers

Hi there:
What subjects do you teach/specialise in? We are looking for someone to teach history/geography/social studies to an 11 year old girl (homeschooled), in the River Valley area.

Hi,
I am starting homeschooling 3 children aged 12, 10 and 4 this September. I am looking for possible tutors for some subjects and also some contacts with people already homeschooling for help/support and friends for the children.
Would love to hear from anyone, we live Upper Thomson.
Sue

Hi Sue, we've just moved to Singapore from the UK and I will be homeschooling my 8 year old boy. I also have a 4 year old girl. Would be great to meet up for the kids to make friends. We live between Serangoon and Hougang which isn't too far from Upper Thomson.

Hi, I homeschool my 9 year old daughter using a mixture of the British curriculum (Key Stage 2) and Singapore math.
There is a very large homeschooling community here in Singapore, made up of expats and locals.
There is a curriculum fair tomorrow (June 8th).
There is a homeschool forum at
www.ExpatHomeSchool.com, plus there is a Yahoo singapore homeschool group too.
The link for the curriculum fair details is here (if the link doesnt work just visit ExpatHomeSchool.com or PM me for details)

My budget's $30,000 per child.Have 2 children, What are the international school options?

GEMS has always been pretty terrible. The only international schools I confidently recommend are SAS and UWCD. Maybe Stamford American or GESS too.
