Hello, I'm sorry if this question has been done before. We are moving from Dubai to Singapore sometime early next year. My DD is eligible for Foundation Stage 1 (or nursery) in September 2011. I have already contacted TTS and was informed that she would have a place if we applied within the next three months. My question is, is it more common to enroll your three year old into a nursery and then move them to an established primary school once they're older, or does it make more sense to try and find them a place in a good school early on? In Dubai, in order to ensure a place at a good school we've had to apply for a place in FS1 when DD was 9 months old, and waiting till they hit FS2 or Key Stage would be too late as places are very limited. Is this the same situation in Singapore? I'm looking for a British Curriculum school/nursery.
TIA
