Dear all,
I am a Singapore women , married to an Indonesian Husband,
i am currently considering to take up dual citizenship for both o my kids age 3 and 1,

just wan to clarifies, whether Singapore govt accepts dual citizenship ?

What are the terms and conditions entail for dual citizenship as i try to search online for the link to dual citizenship in indonesia but couldnt get much info.

both o my kids are holding Singapore citizenship at tis moment and we registered our marriage in Singapore's ROM.

As currently i am residing with both kids in batam, it is quite troublesome for us having to renew our passport chop everymth,
hence i am considering of taking up dual citizenship.

Anyone here can advise on hw to go about applying for dual citizenship and at what age will my kids alllowed to decide on which country;s citizen they wan to be when dey reaches age 18 or 21

Thanks in advance..

Can get dual citizenship but then you run into a major obstacle course of which there is not any solution as of yet. Especially if the child is a male. Do some searching of the threads here as there is an on-going sad story of around 3 years duration now.

If you have given birth in SG, you are not allowed dual citizenship by descent.

You can apply for Visa Tinggal Terbatas at the Indon Embassy

This came up in 2006. You have to go to Kementrian Hukum and Ham and apply for Formulir Immigrasi Terbatas atas Dwi Kewarganegaraan

Thanks in advance..

I have checked for you from my source. It is possible to apply for dual citizenship of Indonesia for your children but it will be only up to 21 years of age male or female. Once they reach that age they have to choose either SG or Indonesia.
You need to be residing in overseas though i.e Batam..
You must show proof of marriage of your Indon Hubby. This will not contravene with SG Law as you already has SG BC for your kids.
Then forward all these to Kementerian Hukum dan Ham and get formulir immigrasi terbatas
