Hey there, I'm asking this for my 25 year old Aussie friend who wants to find a job in Singapore to be closer to his girlfriend. He's in Singapore right now for 2 weeks and hopes to find something before he leaves.
Problem is, he's only got high school certification. I know this is going to be a long shot...but is there ANY job he can get here? We're not talking about expat pay - he knows he can't get that.
His passion is in cars, so he'll be visiting car dealerships to enquire about positions. But he's also open to jobs such as customer service, F&B management, administration. I once saw an ad for native Aussie speakers for a call centre but that was ages ago.
He's also hoping to be paid at least S$2K to offset his living expenses - rent, transport, food, bills, etc.
Any chance for this diligent and quick-to-learn lad?
