notice to vacate

Post by phantomsri » Sun, 19 Sep 2010 10:43 am

I have been renting a flat for few months.
Just recently i breached the contract. The owner asking me to vacate in 1 week.
Its to fast for me.

do i have a right to have a 30 days notice?
The owner never gave me any written notice, only verbally. Verbally notice is it valid?

What is applicable and enforceable is in your TA. Read it. Is there a 30 days notice upon a breach of the contract? Is there a requirement to communicate with you on such matters only in writing?
