Looking for Corgi Pup (3- 7 months)

Post by mochaa » Fri, 17 Sep 2010 3:56 pm

My hubby and I have been searching for a Corgi pup for a long time. We are serious buyers and sincerely hope to bring a sweet Corgi pup back to our new Home.

We are also okay to purchase the puppy but welcome adoption.

Corgi owners who are home breeders and/or have corgi puppies looking for new owners, please do not hesitate to call us.

Let's hope to hear some good news.

Thanks,

Serene & Gary

I wouldn't mind have a Cardigan myself. Most go for Pembrokes cause of Queen E, but I raised Cardigan's 40 years ago for obedience trials and for the show ring. (different dogs for each). I had a tri-color bitch for obdience and a Red & White for the show ring (got his championship at 10 months in a specialty show in Philadelphia). I've never actually seen one for sale here - might want to check the Australian breeders though if you are looking for Pembrokes.
SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers

Hi sundaymorningstaple
Thanks for the prompt reply. That was my 1st forum topic and glad someone responded.

My hubby and I prefer a PWC cos of its look actually, rather than the cardigan.
So do you still have the 2 corgis with you? A neighbour had a pair and the bitch was due in Sept. He promised he'll keep 1 for me for sale. Very sadly, the owner contacted me some time back to say the corgi had a miscarriage and there was another still-born.

I was rather disheartened by the news, coupled with numerous failed attempts to get the pup thru home breeders and pet shops.

Any idea how I can contact the Australian breeders? I just called for a seller who imported 2 corgi pups from Taiwan. WOuld the country of export be impt at all?

Hope to get some advice and opinions.
Thanks!

Price range for a Pure breed Australian Pembroke Welsh Corgi

Post by mochaa » Fri, 17 Sep 2010 5:10 pm

Can anyone advise me on that price range of a PWC?

There was someone letting a corgi pup at $2.2k, with no certs and $3k+ for one with cert.
I dun really need a show dog actually... just one who is sweet and we can love!

THanks.
