Post by thedimsumkid » Fri, 10 Sep 2010 6:36 am

Hi - some advice please....

I'm coming to SG and have my LTSVP approved. The question is, shoud I go on one way flight or buy an open return, or a return for three months?

That would depend if you want to return for holiday before the ticket runs out, the price from Singapore to UK is around 1800$ plus tax, so you are looking at 2400 to 2500 for a return to Singapore, not cheap....You will eventually have to either lose one way, or transfer if possible to another user. A single one way ticket from UK is just as expensive as a return ticket, the last time i enquired, though that is long ago.

I always used to get the 1 year open from UK, knowing i would return every year for holiday. but the exchange rate was in my favour back then, today it isn't.
