looking for a tailor for denims/jeans?

Post by tiyalynn » Thu, 02 Sep 2010 9:27 pm

I have some clothing (jeans in particular) that I need to be fitted to my new size after having a baby almost a year ago...I've now lost the weight and want my favourite pair of jeans that fit when I was prego, to fit me now.

Does anyone know of a tailor reasonably priced that can take in denims/jeans designer and make them fit me again?

thanks :)

Second floor at Tekka Market Little India has a number of tailors and alteration places you can choose from.

"Alteration Initiative" at Dhobby Xchange (just above the MRT station) does alterations for jeans, and other clothing types too.

It's a social initiative which hires single mums. You can find out more at their website: http://www.alteration.com.sg/index.html

I have no relation to this store other than I have used them a few times and they have done a great job. Can't argue with their prices either.

I didn't know it was a social initiative but it makes it even better.
