Advice on IT recruiters

Post by PrissyMissy » Wed, 01 Sep 2010 6:24 pm

I am an IT professional in the financial services industry and would like to find out what the major recruitment agencies in Singapore are. I would like to hear from people in a similar position/industry as I would like to contact some specific recruiters to be able to work with them to market myself.

SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers

Thanks :D

I have done that - to be specific I am trying to get some that have been used by others and that would be recommended :)

There seem to be several "hundred" in a google search.

Not too bad then. There are well over 1100 recruitment agency licenses currently issued here in Singapore by the MOM. so you only have 10% to go through. Not too bad in today's mass emailings.

Try looking on the main job websites like :

http://www.monster.com.sg/
http://www.efinancialcareers.sg/
http://www.jobsdb.com.sg/Singapore

All the big agencies will be on there!

Also, bear in mind that recruitment agencies aren't always the best way to go for work, you are sometimes better going directly to the company! so keep an eye on the big banks

I start in my new job at the end of this month. I got the role through networking! Best way in Singapore to get a job!
