Hi guys we are playing 5on5 FULL COURT basketball every wednesday 8pm at NUS law school, along evans rd. We will try to book the court every week. This wednesday basketball is on.
All our players are matured, their skills range from intermediate to advanced and mostly working adults,we usually get about 12-18 ppl every week.
MATURED PLAYERS WITH PRIOR BASKETBALL EXPERIENCE ARE WELCOMED!

Hey, this sounds really good. I wouldn't dare describe myself as possessing advanced basketball skills, but I think I can be trusted to not royally screw my team over. Can I come?

Jack,
Are you guys playing tonight (Sept 8th)? Are these indoor or outdoor courts?
I just moved to Singapore, so, if I cab it to the courts, what directions should I tell my cab driver?
Thanks!

Dear Jack
I am an middle age intermediate player. Ex Uni team. Been longing to find a group to play basket in Singapore. Am from HK. Used to play regular leisure game 5 years ago.
Saw in the forum that you have regular games on Wed in NUS.
Is the group still open to join? I would very much like to join and make firends too.
Please let me know. Many thanks.
You can text me on 9667 3981 or

Just arrived in Singapore but found there is a Wednesday night Men's social basketball competition (currently 9 teams). It is played at Queenstown Sec School (5-10 min walk from Queenstown MRT)
I think it costs about $10 a game - apparently even though it's social they film the matches and take stats and the works! Anyway I'm not much of a basketballer but wouldn't mind a run around so I've put my name down. But if a few are interested in putting together a team??
Also my wife is looking to play womens basketball or mixed, there are also at least 2 or 3 other girls keen on a game.

Hi Neotraveler,
You can check out the BBAXN website for amateur basketball teams and leagues. THere is also a women's competition, but played only on weekends, in which I sometimes play (I say sometimes because I'm away most weekends!!). There are 5 or 6 teams and a game more or less every Saturday. Because I am not available most weekends, I'm looking to organize a weekday scrimmage just for fun, so maybe you can PM me your wife's contact details so we can talk about this!
Cheers

Hi mlyin88,
Can't pm yet as I am still a newbie - you can email me at
[email protected] - I have seen several women on here looking for bball (my wife has made contact with two or three) so if we can round them all up I'd say your weekday session should be no problem.
Also I have a small side project going for
any women who might want to try out Aussie Rules football.
