Looking for travelmate to Dr Hsu in Kaoshiung Taiwan Dec

i did not make it an issue of a korean vs. taiwan stand. it was never about which country's doctor, that which of them fair better, it had always been INDIVIDUAL preference. in fact, i have one-sidedly set my heart on dr hsu for MORE THAN A YEAR....but ill be frank...its because his success cases and his slightly more affordable price (again, debatable) to me make the right balance at the time for me to choose him. and regretably, i might have overlook a lot of smaller details because of the price. other doctors at the time never crossed my mind because no doubt i cant afford it, and now i really regret it. Once i really get down to rethink twice...i discuss at length with another doctor and find that we are on the same wavelength that's why i decide to change my mind. but all in all, dr hsu is a skilled doctor, no argument.

hi clairedoll, hope you would not mind if i ask this. Why do u prefer to go to Taiwan instead of doing it in Msia. Someone in this forum (can't remember who) mentioned that a Penangite doctor is quite good.

coughhhhhh how do i put this delicately....oh damn im just gonna say it.... ARE U KIDDING ME? there's no way im doing it in there...i cant even begin to start on their outdated methods.... there's many so called 'board certified' plastic surgeons here who know nadaa. if u have talked to them n the overseas doctors, u'll know what i mean.

Just give them a benefit of doubt - it is not dat the Msian docs are not gd. It is just the method and technology are not as advanced as Korea / Taiwan in comparison. Anyway, I am keen to go to Taiwan but if the surgeon cant do much for my nose, then I will have to go to Korea. Let's see what they say

malaysian? are u thinking of going to taiwan for consultation? see i have the air tickets but since im not goin, i can let go (transfer passenger name) at lower price=ppp something to think about

nothing personal man, don't take it so seriously. it's not about tw vs korea or anything. If anything, it's doc vs doc. I've seen enough cases here to know that many docs will say they can do everything for the patient and in the end the patient's not happy.

Good to know that you found a doc you can communicate well with, but words can only say this much. Most importantly, I hope you're happy with the quality of his work, and the only way that's possible is by pictures. Just to make it clear, i'm writing this post in good faith and i want the best for you too

cersepn - thanks for your kind thought. Really appreciate it. Totally agreed with you - some of the doctors are only interested with how much $$$ we have in our pockets.

clairedoll - i have yet to decide. Still waiting for the doctors' reply on my emails. Have you consult with other doctors?
