Whenever there is a public holiday on Friday or Monday, Thursday or Tuesday, I always try to get away from Singapore and discover a city in Asia.

If you find 3 days are not enough for you then take 1 day more to discover, I don't have many leave left so it very depends on destinations.

I can share you some of my trips over long weekend as :

1 - Hochiminh & small cities around.

2 - Danang, Hoi An

3- Hanoi + Halong Bay

4 - Krabi

5 - Phuket

6 - Bali

7 - Brunei (quite boring actually but I bought a tour to forrest then become quite nice in the end), 3 days are more than enough.

8 - Darwin

My next trips over long weekend will be : Penang + Langkawi, Chiang Mai, ...

When you plan to travel in budget airlines, you need to book very early to get the good deal. But many people want to get out of Singapore over long weekend so asap is always better

The reason I often travel to these places because they have budget airlines going there and I like backpacking :)

Hope this is useful for you guys.

Thinking of a short break to either Indonesia or Malaysia. Probably Friday - Sunday, i.e. 3D2N. Anyone interested?

Hmm…I can help if you guys r thinking of going to Langkawi, Malaysia. I visited Langkawi a little while ago and made a new friend there. She took us around and shared useful bits of information about where to go, what to eat, things to do, places to avoid etc. Being a local, she knows hidden places that we’d never have been able to find on our own. The bottom line is, if you’d like to go on a short holiday, that’s tailored to perfection and return home feeling refreshed & rejuvenated (be it physically, emotionally, or mentally), then look no further, because I have a contact that can offer you just that. Write me at [email protected] if you’re keen.

Mikicoco,

When do you intend to travel?

I'm interested, but depends on timing.

did you folks ever make it out of Singapore?
I'm definitely interested if you haven't...

Interested in anywhere in Malayisa, Cambodia, Phillipines or maybe Vietnam. I've only been in Singapore a few weeks and want to get away for a bit.

If want to see more of me my facebook is
www.facebook.com/randy.l.olsen... send me a message if interested!

I have a good travel agent here that I work with... we can get smoking deals on resorts and or airfare.

Thanks,
Randall
